Blindly running into cactus
I just figured out how to turn on the internal wireless adapter in my police laptop. then i found a few places that offer free wi-fi......so it looks like i'll be able to check the monkey once in a while at work....something i haven't done since i left the corporate world!

just don't tell my boss ;) :thumb:

did i mention that i love centrino mobile technology :D

my buddies and i would be riding around in a not so legal place to ride. and we ride past the cop car, i take a glance inside and see the ridemonkey home page. i think i'd fall off my bike

There is this one section of a trail we were poaching...and the cops were onto the mtn bikers and knew where the get out was...it dropped off into this really fancy neighborhood in the hills...we came out of there one day and we saw a cop car there...the cop was totally crashed out...if he woulda been awake it would have been a $150 fine and then they take your front wheel off your bike and you have to walk it all the way down to the parking lot. He wasn't surfin rm though...

Where those your tracks we saw on Cobbs Hill the other night? Either one person made a lot of runs or there were several people making runs. Either way the persons who were riding there have balls to go over those jumps! One set of tracks must have jumped 20' from the ramp and it looked like they eat it after they landed. Kind of cool actually..... They were running big bike tires so I figured it was you.....jdcamb

don't worry....the laptop is technically mine and i get to buy it when they upgrade and i'm not dumb enough to go anywhere that isn't work friendly. i don't have time to surf while on regular duty but i'm mainly stoked because i can surf while working off duty jobs (ie: for hire police stuff, mainly security watch type stuff). sitting in a parking lot for visibility gets really boring and one can only watch so many dvd's :D

and yes, i get to take my car home :thumb:
