Any one see this 8 concert thing? Wow, it is pathetic to see all these artists supporting 'africa' just because they think its cool. You know its hip when Madona cares about Africa. 98 % of these people cant even name 5 countries in Africa nor have any of them ever given a **** about it until MTV sponsors a charity event.

AudioSlave was there, probably because of Tom. And i guess some of the bands care, but Snoop Dog? Madona? Please.

Dude, its not a big thing. What does MTV hope to accomplish by this? All they get is publicity and more watchers. If Madonna (as hot as she is) wants to care, let her send them a load of her CD's. She wont give any of her money to them.

Live 8 was organised by Bob Geldof, not MTV, and I think he probably knows a little more about Africa than most people...
