I've got a new Pike Team on the way, with a wheel built around a Hope 20mm hub. Yes, I know I need a fork up adapter for my rack; got one of those coming as well.

Anything special about the care and feeding of 20mm hubs? Seems pretty straight forward - take care of my bearings and seals as on any other hub. Anything else?

You can make a fork up out of some steel from home depot and a steerer tube from a kids bike, if you know how to weld.

i thought about fabbing something up, no welding required. ideas in my head, but then thought: nah, go for the rampant consumerist option and buy one from the same place i'm getting the fork. (larry, at mtn. high cyclery)

hmmmm. i'm off for the next six days, maybe i'll just do that anyhow.
