just finished the vid of the impromptu dirt jump comp after the DS race at hobby park in winston salem, NC. this race turned out to be less of a race and more like a huge riding and jam session. no huge cash payout, no actual podium....just a bunch of riders getting together for some fun competition.

anyhoo.....this vid is a xpost from the south forum but i thought it would be cool to share in here just to show the fun vibe we had at this race

yeah the little DJ comp was totally NOT planned. We were just sitting around and someone said "hey, let's have a DJ comp".

yeah, it's designed for the low and fast racer style. the dj comp was spur of the moment...which is what makes races like that so cool. had we wanted to have a REAL dirtjump comp we could have all driven about 3 miles up the road for this place

no prizes!! what! a SOLDIER CLOTHING trucker hat is a killer prize!

there were supposed to be 2 prizes, best jump and best crash. no one crashed so motomike won the hat, the other was a "throw out" wedding style to those who wanted it.
