We had some white corn the other week that was good but not great. I think we are waiting on July too, for the good stuff at least.

I love it grilled too. Remove the silk but leave the husks, toss it on the grill for a few minutes per side, then slather in salty herb butter...MMMMM.

Straight up boiled is great too, especially with super fresh stuff, but with all that sugar it's almost a shame to not get some carmelization going.

Should've smuggled some back from Florida two weeks ago... 5 for $1 and awesome quality.

I say that cuz I just went to Whole Foods here in Denver, 2 for $1 and they were much smaller and nasty compared to the stuff in FL.

I've given up butter & salt on my corn. Usually the stuff we get is so good I don't want anything in the way of that heavenly flavor. :thumb:

I'll usually polish off 4-5 cobs if the stuff is good.
