that was the second bbc series posted over the winter? i watched a bit of it. while i generally agree with its premise i didn't feel like sitting through 4-odd hours of it.

as far as mobility...i came from an average middle class family (both parents have bachelors degrees, combined income $100k). I continued the mediocrity but my brother is in the $30k per month range as an opthamologist.

nope :D not only does riding a bike at work rock, he used to pick on me when we were little, now that i outsize him by a bunch, i get to beat him up :thumb: he may be rich but i can kick his a$$!!

My average was 85%. I was thinking about the mobility thing and put in my parents info for when I was 15 or so and it came out to 40%.
