its a more realistic game than halo 2. it has all authentic weapons, such as m16's to ak-47's and rpgs. it a "squad based multiplayer". its a great game. http://ps2.ign.com/objects/552/552397.html?ui=gamefinder socom turns me into a hermit too.
i was addicted to socom1 and to socom2 for a few months, just after the second one came out. i barely play anymore just because i have realized how much worse it is than the original. it is still fun to play with some of the friends i have made, if you ever catch me online, my name is, EVIL*PIMP

Sorry to resurrect the dead thread, obviously it didn't get much attention a year ago when it was origially posted. I'm new to Socom 2, a couple of guys at work talked me into getting the game. I usually play on the international server in one of the North American rooms. My name is Kornphlake if y'all want to shoot at someone who is easy to kill.
