I'm looking to buy either 6ti/M4 or m4/m4 combo. Is 6ti that much better than m4? I'm 140 + 45lbs my bike. Looking for one finger modulation and lots of power. I currently have Grimeca 12/8 and they aren't doing that great :mumble: .

What I need an adapter for '01 Monster T?

Thanks!

You probably don't even need the M4s. Any of the Hope brakes will kick the crap out of your Grimecas. No offence but they are the Raleigh of the disc brake world. My friend runs Mono-minis (I run Shimanos and Hayes right now) and they are ample for him and they feel awesome to me too - smooth, modulated and buckets of power. I'd say they are superior to Shimano or Hayes in every way. You can do stoppies with your little finger. I weigh a little more than you and he weighs 30-40lbs more. If you want a DH brake the M4s will be awesome, but IMHO the 6Tis are overkill for everyone except people like Cedric Gracia or Steve Peat. They do look hella cool though.

Thanks for the info. Grimecas are tricky to set up, but they are very good brakes. I will take them over pretty much anything, but Hope any day.

Thanks again for your help. What about the adapter?
