Today , we decided to was time to Kayak the Blackstone river /Canal.


whart you do is you put in in the River , Kayak down river , go down a 2 or 3 miles ,then Get out ( at a Canoe Port ) trudge the Kayak , 20 Yards over to the canal and padle back on the still water of the canal. , simple Yet Much FUN!!!

so we took our 2 kayaks that have large cockpits and sat the Kids in front of us. I will tell you this Peter is getting too Big to do this , it was very tight with him.

That's great, splat! The girl and I took the yaks out last weekend and did some floating around. It's so relaxing...

Great pics as usual, fall foliage is looking awsome this year. Late in the afternnoon I was out riding along the river and you could here polka music drifting through the air from an Octoberfest the town over, although I'm not a fan of polka it was kinda cool in an odd sorta way.....

wow...looks like a wonderful time. i grew up as a waterman of sorts and i really miss having waterfront property. looks like good times all around

that's pretty much what our "family time" turns into at my house. lil manimal doesn't know how to pull his punches. it's like fighting a friggin booby trap, every hold i put on him he seems to find a way to headbutt, kick, hit, pinch me somehow. he's a little guy for his age but i don't think it'll be an issue :biggrin:

awesome! i had some quality time with my family this past weekend as well. Went and raced DH at plattekill, my parents came all the way from Pittsburgh to see me, and my girlfriend came as well. the weather was beautiful, the course was awesome, and the company rocked too. best weekend i've had in quite some time.
