OK, I went for a ride on Wensday and I think I lightly bumped my rear derailleur against a rock or something. The problem is, I can't get into the easiest gear on the rear cog, the shifter will shift all they way so the trigger reads 1, but it's still in "2". Then when I shift to "2" on the trigger, it goes to 3 on the rear briefly and then switches itself to 4. I think there may be something wrong with the cable but do you guys have any other suggestions?

Have you tried undoing the cable and pushing the deraileur manually. Can you push it far enough. What about the limit screw, could it have come misaligned?

But it does sound like your cable isbinding or kinked. But I would check the deraileur movement first :)
