Taken from descendentsonline. I particularly like the bit about lawyers.
ok, we had this stuff up once, but the board crashed and we never reposted it. There are a few guidelines that we would like for you to observe. It's not too bad, but here they are.
usernames and thread titles - don't put "profanity" in your username or thread titles. we'd like for people to be able to view the board from their work if they want. Some "spy" software that companies use might block the board if "****face" has 200 posts, because then, the board says "****" 200 more times. If you want to say "****" or whatever in the posts, that's fine.
don't post personal info about band members - if someone on here asks for milo's phone number and you post it, your post will be deleted and you'll be banned. if he wants to give it to someone, that's up to him, not you. this also might apply to other information. just use common sense/courtesy
links - if you post a link that's possibly not cool for someone to look at from their job at the vatican, please give them some type of warning suchs as "NSFW" (not safe for work) or something similar. if you post a photo, make sure it's appropriate. if you're not sure, just use a link, and make sure people have enough information to know if they want to click on it or not.
finally - any and all of these are to be at the discretion of the moderators. if we don't happen to see someone else's, but we delete yours, don't cry and whine about it. there's also probably no point in argueing. you're probably not an attorney. if you were, you would know that there's no point in complaining about how someone deleted your "****s and wiggles" thread or changed the title.
if you've already signed up for a username that isn't acceptable, pick an alternate, or alternate spelling, and let one of the moderators know, so we can change it for you. Otherwise we might delete your account.
