Some Shots From New Years Day

The third one, that section is just so frightening. The color seems a lot different on these than your shots normally do, or is that just me? A little deeper and darker.
Yeah I left them a little darker. It was just GREY outside so when I edited them I didnt bring up the backgrounds at all. Although I could. Here I will load Leland brighter. I am on a MAC also and they are brighter than PC's typically. Is the one below much brighter?

Goggles as decor?
We had about 13" of rain the week before. The sun clouds had about two days to dry the trail. It was onlu muddy in a few spots so no goggles needed.
Second shot is rad. 
why does every shot from that area look the same?
Well I typically shoot the 7-8 main sections of the trail. So there are sections like corners I am not showing. Also it is all just rock, poison oak, and chapparel not the most scenic backdrops!
are there any dirt sections or is it all just rock?
It's only a 2 minute trail, only so many spots to shoot.
There's dirt, but the rock sections look a lot more dramatic.
In reality though, there's only like 1 or 2 non sketchy places to catch your breath on that trail.
