My money is on the possibility that he was a locksmith...Nothin' like a "creative" business practice...That's what this country needs more of...If you can't find any customers, make some!! Then price gouge..!!!
 
I don't know about the best of all time, but that is deffantly one of the best I have ever heard of.

and yes it was in the key holes. By doing that, there is absolutly nothing to be done but to disect the lock(to get the door open), and then replace it... Because of the small delicate parts inside, there would be no way to restore the lock to working order!
