This took about 3 weeks to build all from scratch and pallets. I cut trees down for the framing underneath and its solid as a rock. I will probably have to change it next year because its Alder and they rot pretty bad. Forgot a picture of the landing.

It's nice to have some of your own property to build on ain't it? :)

Definately a start and the dry weather isn't doing any building good right now. We could use some rain for sure.

BTW: Nice broken pulaski....

so ive been taking the last couple weeks to reroute the entrance and along with making the trail twice as long in length ive created a MUCH better entrance down a old road then double bermright berm right and cross hill to the wood berm/drop which having the landing straightened out and pushed farther away. everything will be much smoother and flow better. i got some pics of the first double finally and all though it still needs a lot of work, its a lot better. its freakin small. and the berm after is WAAAAY to close but i needed to ride it. anyways heres rough shots....

i spent todayt before working reshaping and perfecting the take off landing and berm. hopefully tomorrow ill get another chance to work a little before work.

anyone that wants to dig is welcome. and this is all my property.

i have 5 acres behind my house. i have some pretty sick stuff in mind on my trail. berms everywhere with lots of flow and speed. im down to build anything down there. it flattense more down towards 522 and i think some dirtjumps could be built down here.

i've been trying to get some of my buddies who i ride with to help lol but but i dunno. i had trouble at the beginning with lay out of the trail.
now that i've fixed the entrance i think its going to be a lot better. and now im going through one hit at a time and re-doing them.
but i plan to make a step on/ step off box and some other gnar down there.
i work on the weekends

i rode for a couple hours today after work. i put a flood light on the landing for the first jump it was pretty dope. it gets really dark in there and you can see for sh*t lol. i still need to work out the kinks though on what i've got built so i can go farther. i always need help though so if anyone wants to help. hint hint hint haha. but im always down to ride after work

you should dial in what is already built and get that to flow and feel good. That will also give you a good idea on how much speed/flow you'll have for the next feature your going to build so you won't have to redo it when you realize it's wrong.Having a bunch of shetchy, crappy "things" in a row is just that....a bunch of crap and no fun to ride.

Also.....before you invite a bunch of people over to your(parents) place....you need to make sure they are cool with it. IIRC,your mom is a lawyer and she may freak,on the liablity tip, if she see's a bunch of strangers huckin and crashing in the yard:thumb:

ya theyre will be dirtjumps hopefully, i've only got a year left to dig. theres a lot better landscape at the bottom along 522 for dirtjumps it seems.
and good advice on getting what i have dialed in. Thats whats been happening, but its fun as hell to ride now.
as far as them being worried about people crashing, im almost positive they're not worried about liability. they've never said anything to me about getting hurt or not letting people ride. some of my friends choose to ride without helmets, i would've thought that would have sparked them to say something if anything.
