every once in awhile i think of busting out of tahoe. job reasons, family reason, etc... but then i have the most perfect morning ever and i change my mind.

today me, mr.amyd and a friend got up early to have coffee and watch the sunrise.

I camp at Eagle Point - up in the hills on the other side of the island there - two or three times a year. Great spot!!

yeah. the rocks by emerald bay. was trying to figure out where on the south shore would be the best place to see the sunrise.

on top of tallac would have been pretty sweet.

hmmmmm. usually no. weather sucks. but sometimes i wish i had a real sized yard. it bums me out looking to see what i could afford back east if we sold our house here.

edit: and you actually have a choice of jobs there.
AND i do miss the old houses. houses here are pretty ugly compared to the old new england homes with charachter

i think there's less of these on the south shore but I really like the tahoe cabin style that alot of the houses on the north shore have. old houses are nice too i guess.

nope. nothing yet. they are working on man made...
i'm ok with that. i'm still having fun riding my bike. in a couple of weeks i'll be itching for some good snow though.

Sweet, my roommate proposed to his girlfriend (now fiancee) on the dock at Emerald Bay last Valentine's Day. Looks beautiful and that first picture is amazing.
