Bakery donuts, too. I had a plain glazed. I can't handle filled ones. It looked kind of like this, although it was a stick, not a round.
I usually have a bagel in the morning, but today I'm getting crazy and having the donut instead.
They actually closed the KK in our area. Apparently donuts are not the giant draw out here they expected...Mmm... Krispy kreme glazed donuts...
They just closed down one of ours too. They actually closed the KK in our area. Apparently donuts are not the giant draw out here they expected...
They were all the rage here for a couple years, and recently they locked out their employees without pay and closed their doors. They actually closed the KK in our area. Apparently donuts are not the giant draw out here they expected...
Looks like back a couple years they *were* quite the rage. They were all the rage here for a couple years, and recently they locked out their employees without pay and closed their doors.
I've tried a bunch of their donuts, and the only ones that I think are great are the original glazed kind. The others are just... meh.I've never understood people's love of krispy kreme. I do love a good plain old fashioned now and then.
The originals, at least where we are, are still made in-store. You can watch the whole process, actually, as the area that they are made is glassed in to allow people to watch. Kinda cool. They closed all the Krispy Kreme stores. They make them all in big factories and sell them through stores now.
The store here was like that, I guess they didn't close all of them. It was replaced by a restaurant that specializes in chicken fingers. The originals, at least where we are, are still made in-store. That's too bad. Their site says they've been around since 1937.Looks like back a couple years they *were* quite the rage.

Whoever expected a donut store to make a good public investment....
Neither have I.I've never understood people's love of krispy kreme.
"So... your business plan is to sell donuts? Have you diversified at all?"Well, America IS the most overweight country!

The aroma of pig **** that is ever present in the midwest masks the subtle flavours. There must be something special about DD in the NE? Because all the DD I've ever had (Midwest & west) have been nothing to write home about...
Where I was from it was the fumes from the plastics & plastic painting factories...The aroma of pig **** that is ever present in the midwest masks the subtle flavours.
