not much about this band Pharaoh Overlordi know, aside from its connection to Circle, a Finnish psych band who i've been tangentially following ever since their early 7 inch records on the vaunted Bad Vugum label. they have graduated from the dark murk they were purveying, and opened up to more of a krautrock (think Popul Vuh or Ash Ra Tempel) sound. spacious, long, good for enjoying along w/ a small, controlled fire of various plant materials in front of you. if you are into that sort of thing.

August

ps - i went back to direct hot-linking, as it seems no one had any problems w/ it. if there are issues, someone let me know and i'll do a work around. also, i'll try to use the weekend selections for longer or more obscure/potentially more challenging material.

Sweet, this one is right up my alley. Gotta love the intrsumental stuff! It's already on its second listen.

first few seconds sound good so far. I don't know the type of music you referenced, but this does have a familiarity to it.
