when Mark Edwards named his musical project My Dad Is Dead, you figured he'd been thinking through some personal issues. Albums titled ...and he's not gonna take it anymore, the best defense, and let's skip the details only further cements this asssumption. so it's no surprise that the cleveland-based artist doesn't go for sunny melodies or upbeat tempos; think about the clouds of smoking curling from a smouldering tire dump and you're almost there.
