Song of the Day has lapsed from a daily occurrence to something a bit more irregular, but i'm not totally phasing it out. So we kick back on w/ Pearls & Brass, a band i saw open for Boris last week. they have a bluesy rock sound, kinda like Hendrix at times; much more rock than blues, though, if you compare to someone like Black Keys. all very good players, and they lined up all in a row, drummer center, just like violent femmes did back in the day. and damn was that drummer great.
