continuing on our acoustic guitar series (DRB, you can turn around now), Glenn Jones is an unabashed disciple of Fahey's, even to the point where he cajoled him into recording a record together, along w/ Glenn's band Cul De Sac (the results of which are mixed, and Fahey's notorious mercurial behavoir led to some rancorous moments). last year Glenn recorded his 1st solo record, after a few highly recommended Cul De Sac records (mainly electronic in nature, but still featuring his amazingly fluild style).
Glenn's also a local and i've had the opportunity to chat w/ him a couple of times; nice guy. so support him by buying some records; his longtime apt in cambridge is being turned into a massive condo project.
