a straight line on the rock n roll curve between The Sonics and Nirvana, The Wipers were one of america's best punk/rock bands ever. though greg sage's music didn't carry the typical trappings of punk rock, esp after the first 3 records, his spirit and DIY aesthetic (to the point of making his own guitar effects pedals) certainly never faded. you can get the 1st 3 records in a single box for about $20 from ,Sage's Site which is as good a deal as you'll ever find, regardless of what you are buying.

this song is the lead off and title track of the 3rd record, originally on Braineater records.
