today has a real short blurb because i've out of time. saw Sir Richard Bishop sunday night, and was dutifully blown apart. his main gig is guitarist/frontman/tormentor of Sun City Girls, but he's also made a few solo records, mainly of acoustic, steel-stringed guitar but has been known to throw eye of bat and tongue of newt into the stew as well.

this song was originally released as "Abydos" 1993 Borungku Si Derita 2x7 in
Pest

here's a pic of the man in action:

yeah, i forgot to mention to Rick the recent JFA show(s). funny how they were on those Placebo punk comps. Trainwreck, if you happen to find any of the early SGC records in a local used record bin, they are worth some $$$.

Actually a friend of mine owns a record store in Tempe that carries a lot of vinyl, I'll check that out. I do have a Blatant Localism CD on Placebo from '88 that is mint. The case isn't even scratched up.

Im generally not much for guitar craziness, but that was pretty nice and not what I expected.

Love me some JFA..
