i believe they will be playing boston in sept...if it's at the venue i think it is (and there is some confusion), hopefully i will get a good position for some photos. i've seen 'em about 8 times and they have always been outstanding.

I saw them only once. At the Somerville Theatre. Don't remember the specifics. They were very good though. Awesome setting. Everyone was there.

i've seen two bands @ the somerville theater...billy bragg, and john zorn's masada quartet.

They played there a couple of years ago the day after I had knee surgery. I was too doped up to go. That's a great venue. I saw God Speed You Black Emperor there. Awesome show.

Back to SY. I've heard "incinerate" on the local radio a few times lately. First time I've heard them on the radio since Koolthing came out in '90 or so. Very cool.

it's a definite step up from his 1st post-Pavement gig (a couple of episodes on "Strangers W/ Candy".

i've not seen SY since '02, and can't wait to hear the new stuff (as well as _Sonic Nurse_) live.
