had to get to know the sony F3 for work.
I fired off this video once I had gotten my head around the operation of the camera.
I used a mix of Zeiss Prime lenses with Nikon backs.
18mm ,35mm ,50mm and 100mm.

its ungraded. and pretty much thrown together but it was a good little experience.
ive been a broadcast camera op for years and never moved into the commercial or the fixed lense side of the industry here in NZ. its a nice change and the results from a single day with this camera have me very excited for what it possible.

Is it just my machine, or is there some serious jerkiness during the panning?

Is that the encoding for Vimeo, or is that in the source material as well?

Nice image quality, though.

edit: looks like I'm not the only one seeing the issue.

Weird. Both SD and HD versions do it, in two different browsers, on a screaming fast desktop.
I use flashgot to download them and then playback later with an assortment of players. The HD clip was an mp4 file.

Sandy Bridge Intel Core i5 w/8GB. Plays a 1080p test clip that exceeds blueray spec without breaking 5% CPU and 100MB RAM on Media Player Classic via Intel HD Graphics 2000 GPU (Intel ClearVideo GPU accelerated playback).

Has to be an encoding problem.
