This is the very first time in my life I have ever lived in a place that could possibly have trick or treaters, not excited about that.
once you are moved in in the lot by my parents then you won't need to worry about that

meanwhile I bought $100 of candy at Costco. don't know how many pieces--bags don't say. that's a shitload of candy, though. and it'll be all gone in about 1.5 hours, I predict

And... 17/20. Qualified 9th. I was in 4th after the first lap and the steering left failed sending me off. I pulled off to swap karts, but they didn't have one when I pulled in to swap. I ended up going back onto the track in last and even dealing with the bad steering, caught back up from 1/2 lap back, and passed a couple of positions when I was forced off while passing somebody.

At that point, a bunch of the lead traffic passed, so I had no idea where I was in the field anymore. I caught and passed 7 more people, but apparently they were largely the lead pack. I ended up with consistent times, but they were 2-3sec/lap slower than usual. Oh well. It was fun. 44 laps/60min is a laps of seat time and was a ton of fun.

They have a 2-person kart too. Greg took Wifey out which was awesome. Scared the hell out of her, but she gets it a bit more now and understands just how good he is and why we work with him.

@stoney I haven’t been around much lately. Are you driving the rentals you were talking about a while back?
Yep. I've got out a few times, but it was largely to practice before the race.

I could actually really get behind scaring the shit out of the little fuckers
I used to put a plastic beer cup over the valve on my scuba tank and drape a sheet over it. When they rang the door bell I would crack open the door, crank the tank valve open and with a loud roar of air the sheet would launch over their heads and scare the shit out of them:sarcastic::sarcastic:
