Testing fast lines on the new intro/am track at hawksnest.

I'll have to get video to really do this feature justice, but its got a really cool flow to it. You can see me popping over a small roller stepdown, and the rocks in the foreground are a second takeoff right after you land. You pop the gap, then immediately boost off the second lip into a nice wide, rocky runout. Very cool to gap at speed but is all totally rollable for beginners as well.

Alex Boyd is doing a summer photography blog. he's one heck of a photog! he snapped some pics at the Tanglewood bmx race last night:

emily set up in the gate for some practice

me pulling local boys Jimmy Awad and Corey Willard (they killed me at the dirty bird..so this was payback ;) )

noah neck and neck with a 9yr old girl twice his size  (pink sleeve in the corner of the pic)

major thanks to alex for posting them for me! he may have some serious fashion issues but the kid can shoot a camera! ;) :D

she's 5. the pink bike is a 16" haro, the other is noah's redline mni...her own mini is in the works.

she's already doing great at bmx with her heavy/under-geared haro....i can't wait to see how she'll do on a mini. if noah had 1/10th of her drive he'd be on his way to turning pro in a few years.....

Wow - 2 in a row, eh?
Try three. I cracked my trek fuel xc frame only a month before cracking the morewood.
I'm gonna try my luck at building up the revolt again. I got my fork rebuilt after blowing it up at snowshoe, but my frame is still in the same predicament. Evil tells me it's 100% safe to ride, but I'm still hesitant.

Oh, and it's great to also know that my frame now has absolutely no resale value. :disgust:

Check it...some stills from a big roadtrip I just got back from. I was helping my buddy Peter Mills work on the pro GRT track at Whiteface with some shredding at Highland on the side. Also a few shots in there from the Highland GES race.

There's a whole lot more where that came from so if you're interested, check them out here.

that's some gruesome luck you're having with frames brother.

Charlie at Windrock. As Charlie puts it listen to the "concern" in my voice when I tell him to get on it for the last jump.
Great vid / camera work Doug....Charlie was in the frame the entire run! Sadly....I don't think I've ever done a non stop run like that.
