Welp... After about 5 years of wanting to, I finally made it up to Fontanatucky. I didnt race because I don't have one of those expensive two-wheeled contraptions, though I really wanted to!.
So I took some photos instead.

Overall it was a pretty rad event. Its Southridge's 20th year up and running and the turnout to this race was HUGE.
I felt just a little out of place because I haven't been in the DH scene for a couple years, but coming to this event and recent sessions with some old friends are making me want to get back into it more and more.
As far as the race, here are some highlights/happenings that I noticed:
Mondo (At least I think) was riding the new BlkMrkt Roam, which looks like it handles freaking awesome. I was drooling from the second I saw it on the back of his truck.
The little waterfall/drop line that was "Pro only" last year was now mandatory for everyone, and needless to say some kids got really f*$ked up on it. One fell hard enough that I could feel it from about a football field away, and he didn't get up for about 10mins. No bueno.
Due to the crash above, about 8 riders had to do re-runs but they went at the very back of the pack... One of my friends was in that group and he was bumming out, haha.
Otherwise the course looked crazy fun. Nothing too ridiculous but not too easy either. I definitely would have had fun if I still knew how to ride a bike, lol.
As far as the podium... I honestly have no idea. I nabbed my friends bike to take a few runs on the upper 4X course while they were announcing it all. I had to ride just a little

I may or may not have a shot of you because I changed angles so often, etc. etc. and my battery died about 3/4 the way through the race...
But give me your rider #, a description of your bike/gear, and I'll see what I can come up with!
