i have a 2009 fox 40 6.5 inch steerer need a direct mount stem. needs a rebuild and has a few scratches on the lowers. im going to get a wc because im going to get an awesome deal so this has to go. $800.

A little spendy for a scratched fork that has never had the oil changed,has a cut down steerer and needs bushings/wipers dont ya think?

no its not scratched. thought it was. looked like it had marks from the bushings. but come to find out it was the shadow from the brake cable. and no it has never had the oil change or seals changed.

we know you wrecked the fork. go on pinkbike or somewhere that the people don't know the fork they are about to buy is probably broken in half.

i heard your fork is in half travis. 800 is a bit much for a snapped in half fork

oil was never change because i have only had it for a little over two months.

And you rode it every weekend, and therefore the oil should have been changed at least twice.

clearly it will, it never got a service for the two seasons he rode it.

Give the kid a break, the fork isn't in bad condition. Buy his, pay for a rebuild or buy a new one and pay almost twice as much.

I think it's a pretty reasonable price.

I bought mine 1300 WITH NEW SAINT CRANKS. right now they are trading at 1100 new on PB. (but than u have to deal with those damn Canadians)

i had my 08 wc, serviced once for a season and a half. never had one problem with it. best fork i have ever owned. nothing EVER leaked.

and to be honest, i wouldn't mind having a fork that has to be rebuilt once a month, aslong as the adjustments actually make a difference.
