How do I remove my Spanish BB? Hammer and screwdriver? The thing is in there pretty tight. Trying to get my 22" Amero built up and don't wanna buy a new BB.
if you have a spacer in the bb, then you just have to hammer it out as you've said.
bearing presses are tits when smashing fresh balls into your frame, but they come with the cost of almost certainty of replacement when the time comes. tap the old ones out with a bit of force, then put the new goodies in just the same as the old went out
exactly, if you botch the bearings, just bring them to an industrial supply store and get them to get you some new ones. i managed to get some r12 bearings this way that were full ceramic for less then the price of a new bb from a bike shop. i just then reused the cones and spacer.
