That was the exact thought I had. The first picture I saw of the new boxxer was from the back without the stickers visible and it really did look like the kingpin.I can't help but think the all black Boxxer looks like a stance kingpin! Noooo! Peaty's white/black however looks sweet!
Call me captain obvious, but it was day1 practice in the mud and his shoes are white. It's not carbon.
By the way, why doesn't Hill use his signature shoes?
Shut up Fraser. Can you fix the title of this thread? What's up captain obvious.
Cause these matched his new proto frame better I guess. Or he´s just tryin to blend in the crowdBy the way, why doesn't Hill use his signature shoes?
i see all kinda welds.I don't see no welds on the whole frame
Looks like the "dogbone" thing thats on the new Enduro/Stumpjumper.Check oyut the rear shock mount, back by the tire! I bet that makes for a more progressive/rising rate feel. It looks to be a pretty tricky piece-attached directly to the shaft? No air shock compatability?
I saw an air shock on Peaty's bike in a pic in the pits i think.
That is an enduro, that image is not even from maribor.Looks like the "dogbone" thing thats on the new Enduro/Stumpjumper.
And your point is?That is an enduro, that image is not even from maribor.
Gotcha, sorry, I thought you were thinking that bike was the DH rig from maribor. And your point is?
Since there wasn't a closeup pic of the rear shock mounting point i used the Enduro as a reference, it looks like they used something similar on the new Demo.
That was drawn by a guy from Portugal who likes to draws bikes. In no way was it associated with Specialized.Yes! I remember this!
But I don't think the guy who sketched that has anything to do with Spesh... could be some kind of freak coincidence?
It's "Specialized" sticker, not UltimateSo, given that by all accounts, it looks like a non-carbon frame, what's the Ultimate sticker near the BB for? Carbon, Alu: it dont really matter either way. It's the rider that ultimately matters.
you sir, have better eyesight, but way less imaginationIt's "Specialized" sticker, not Ultimate
Interesting, looks like the rear shock eyelet is vertical, maybe this means you can run any shock with their extender thingie, rather than just one like the other Spec. bikes that have it.even moar pics
The extender dosn't alter the stroke of the shock for a given amount of travel. So no change in leverage ratio. So how long does that extender effectively make the shock now? does that mean a lower leverage ratio in your best e-spec opinions?
Either way I hope they make an aluminum version for those that cant spend that much $$$...
You like Sam's new bike therefore you are a fanboy! Wellcome to ridemonkeyI have to say the new demo looks really good in reality
you are very smart, did you know?So everybody with a 2010 Demo will soon have the Old Demo.
