I am decided on the SX frame after getting your precious advice as well. I came across however a new problem. Specialized UK still has the 2003 model and basically they wont bother to bring the 2004 in. The differences are only in color and damping on the rear shock. The 2004 is silver and comes with pro-pedal damping on the Vanilla R. From what i can tell, pro-pedal damping reduces bob a bit, but also reduces small bump sensitivity. Anyhow...a couple of bike shops in the UK told me that they can get me the silver one because they can have special arrangements by Specialized in order to get any frame in any color available in the world.... i dont know what to do and i am asking for your advice...again!
