I turned my FSR into a single upfront chainring but does anyone know if there is a chainiguide for a single ring that will fit onto a FSR?

Well, on the mogul side you could go with an E-13 one, I think. On the cheaper side, look and see if you could fit a Truvativ there. Which year is your FSR? I believe they differ from year to year.
