I've finally made the jump into the "ghetto tubeless" world.
I bought small bottle of Stans and set up on of my DH wheelsets with success.

I'm looking to convert 4 of my other bikes into "tubeless" setups. Stan's is a couple weeks away and I'm impatient.
Has anyone used and (with what success) the Specialized Air Lock sealant for tubeless conversions?

My concern is that Specialized doesn't really say anywhere on their website, dealer book or the air lock bottle that it works for tubeless conversions.

It's pretty much identical to Slime (although it doesn't work quite as well in my experience) so I really doubt it would have enough big "chunks" to work tubeless - it's more fibrous.

Maybe try making your own sealant w/ latex or using Slime Tubeless instead?

I'll probably just order more stans. I have nothing against any of the sealant manufacturers, I just happen to have access to a few bottles of the Air Lock at a fair price.

I've read that a few people have done it with their 2Bliss tires, but that was few and far between and I didn't find much on how well it worked.

It does seem much thicker than Super Juice or Stans.
