When I was in Vagas at the bike expo I spoted the greatest thing ever in the world. Back up. Gyro-Device that allows a rider to spin the handlebars without losing break function or tangle cables. Well, I saw a gyro desin that allowed a rider to 1. shift (rear only) 2. Use hydro brakes front and REAR! 3. Spin the bars forever with no cable tangle. But I have not seen one or heard of any more news on it. The bike was in the Sun Rims booth hidden behind a display. Anyone got any more info?

I do believe that it was the British boys at Gusset/Halo/Identiti that were working on a shiftable hydro gyro setup.
I'm not sure how close to production it is...

I would be very suspicious of the durability of a part like that, just because you are putting alot of pressure through a swivel joint. Its not the most durable system. Im guessing it works well for a while, but will require a lot of maintainance and be expensive.
