I'm working on a 2011 Boxxer R2C2. I slid on the lowers and when I get to installing the rebound damper shaft bolt it will thread in a few turns then stop and begin spinning the damper shaft.

Any suggestions on how I can get the damper shaft to stop spinning so the bolt will tighten? I've tried compressing the fork while tightening but it's not working.

any help appreaciated.

still no luck? guessing you already checked but are the threads clean? stock lock-tite can get chuncky.
watch out for that crush washer when you pull up on the bolt. if it gets fudged fox's are the same size and that could be the source of your original leak.
good luck, you gotta have that primed by rowdy dawg. matt's tring to do a few shuttle runs in the am to get it dialed in. we can't let some XCer get it this year again!
