FTTRC meeting Weds night,3/15 5 mile pizza 6:30
What's happening-
Beacon/Camp Sekani:
Club had been approved for maintenance for 2006, nothing scheduled yet. The club pres and VP are meeting with the city on 3/16 to start additional planning.
The private land that the Esmerelda trail is on is slated for development in 2007, and the owner has contacted the club to work out a plan to preserve the trail.
Riverside: trail work coming up in April on the old CCC trail by the Toenail rapid. Also, the club will be participating in the process to determine what happens to the trails near thesoon to be closing horse stable. These trails have been closed to bikers up to now; we hope to have a say in what happens next now that the horse concession is leaving the park.
There will be a guest speaker Weds night, one of the guys from the Round and Round Medic crew will be talking about common MTB injuries and how to handle them.
