spoke length help.

Hi all. I was on the DTswiss website spoke calculator trying to find out what length spoke to use with a D3.1/XT rear hub wheel build. It came up with 259.6 left, 258.2 right. Which way do I round? It does say this in the user instructions:

"The obtained spoke lengths are precise to 1/10 mm. In practice these values have to be rounded up, respectively rounded down accordingly."
Call me crazy, but that isn't all that intuitive to me. Help a monkey out.

It depends how you were taught.

I round up always to the next digit, some people round up and add one.

I'd go with 260/259 if I were you, or if you're cheap and ordering a box(s) just get all 260s so you don't have extra spokes laying around. I haven't built a wheel yet with 3.1's, but looking at them I think you'd be fine going a little long.

I just round how you're supposed to round doing math problems and such. X.5 and above you round up, below X.5, you round down.
