The grayling and the pearl fish are mentioned. But what I can't figure is if these fish are being raised by commercial hatcheries for commercial reasons are they really endangered.
But protected birds killing protected fish is pretty funny.
Odd, there is no shortage of cormorants where I live (though I easily confuse them with shags).
I liked this bit:
"My fishery loses some 40 tons of fish a year to the cormorants," said Holmer Lex, 75, who owns a fishery on the Chiemsee. "We only produce 90 tons a year."
Maybe they should cull whoever takes the other 50 tons?
