FYI,

If you live near Philly and want a local mountian/hill to ride at, Spring Mount is pretty cool. Lots of rocks, some medium drops and they are supposed to be putting in a jump line. Best part is that they should be open through november and 2 week nights during the week (not sure if weeknights will still start now or next season).

NOTE: I think you have to ride the lift holding your bike. THey have been trying to get a bike carrier system going, but they decided to open the mountain before the bike mount system was finalized. The crew is all volunteers right now and really just want to ride the mountain.

I'm going on Saturday. I've ridden a few o the trails before and they are fun but the hike back up sucked. I can't wait to ride the lift up.

cool. I probably can't make it due to my 3 kids, but the crew were kind enough to keep me in the loop and I hope to take my boys there in the next couple years.

I know the hill isn't huge, but the rocks and features are really fun and the lift is fast. If the place is open in November and weather cooperates, I'll be there more. Weather should be great this weekend so have fun!
