I currently have a fox DHX on my sunday. I'm thinking about picking up an avy-converted 5th or swinger. I know the springs are not swappable, but what will fit on either the 5th or swinger? It's very hard to find Manitou labeled springs, but I was under the impression that it's like "Manitou/RS/Cane Creek" then "Fox/Avy/Elka/Zokes".... is that right?

i know you can still buy Manitou labeled Ti springs on ebay. my buddy just picked up a few of them for his CCDB.

Universal Cycles shows a pretty good selection availabe, don't know your size/rate, but...

They've got a 400, but not a 350. I imagine once I get proper damping I might be able to drop a spring rate, but I guess we'll see.

Manitou springs fit shocks, same for progressive susp ones so I doubt it's not the same the other way around

btw. Its always been quite easy to find manitou springs over here. Strange as their presence in yurp is crap.

I got a new one from bikeparts.com for $21 for my avy-tized 6 way. For some reason, it was a bunch longer than the roco spring I had been using (same i2i and stroke roco), but fits the shock perfectly.
