My friend has a Foes DHS and is running a 450 spring. He weighs 193, and he feels the spring may be to soft. He races but also goes big. Does anyone have experience with the Foes and spring rates?

Also, does anyone know if a Curnutt ti spring will work on an avy? it looks wider OD.

I can't answer your spring rate question since I don't own one of those bikes but for the spring, the Curnutt spring might be a little too big at the ends to fit properly with the spring retainer collars.

I don't know the Curnutt shock, but it should have the same setup options as the 5th Element. I weight 185 an use a 450 spring, but when I want a firmer hide I have my 5th Element shock setup to a lot of air (>150lbs) and a small air chamber (1 turn).

When I went to Foes, The way they were setting us up on their bikes was multiplying our weight by 3 for a fox shock. If you're trying to tune a Curnutt, call Foes. I'm sure they'd be more than willing to help you out.

The Foes spring is too large of Dia. to fit an Avy.Romic and Avy are for the most part interchangable. But not in all cases.5th Element and Swingers will interchange for the most part.Fox is all on its own as well as Stratos.
