I have a 9.5" by 3" Swinger 6 way. The current spring is a 400lb Titanium Spring. I weigh around 250lbs so I was thinking I should be riding a 550lb Ti Spring. Does anyone know the proper weight spring for me? I want the bike to track well, but when doing drops and jumps I dont want to shoot right through the travel upon landing. Also I want it to pedal well, I know a lot of this can be adjusted with a shock pump but what spring weight should I be running?

Pick up a steel spring in 550 and ride it for a few weeks. It's worth the $39 to know you're getting the right rate before you start dropping $200+, and you'll probably be able to turn around and sell it for $30 if you end up getting the Ti.

I want to have this bike set up with fairly stiff suspension, I already have a stiff and medium spring in the Dorado and its perfect, my old bike bottomed out on 4 foot drops, I dotn want that anymore...
