..I'm getting this squeaking sound on my Raleigh Talus 4.0. It appears it's coming for the disc brakes and it's really annoying. Anyone have an issue like this and what can I do to fix it.?

If it sounds like a squeaking submarine then you probably have to either burn in your brake pads more or get yourself some brake silencer.

Now my derailer is busted. I can't switch to 3rd or 1st gear my front derailleur scrapes on the chain.

Go to your local bike shop and ask for assistance.

Too late, I just destroyed my bike. My Raleigh Talus has been nothing but problems since I bought it.

Downingtown Bike shop. It was down to that or a Cannondale. I took the Raleigh because of the lower price point, and I regret it.

I have had bad luck with cannons that was a good call, you probably would have been worse off. Talk to the owner of the bike shop and see if he can help you out on a different rig. They are usually good like that at LBS.

Right now I'm looking at my first hard-tail 29er, a Felt, Giant, or Specialized. Don't know yet.
