dude, i think that's the model i recently bought. what surprised me was that there's a HUGE jump up to the 34 tooth ring. beware if you buy, it's that big a jump, arguably too big.

I bought one on ebay about a month ago for my hard tail (11-34). It came with a PC99 also. As mentioned before it compares to the XT, and I agree with the big shift too. It's a little bothersome at times.

Some of the 2004 carriers creek like a mofo. Thats why they are so cheap. They updated the updated carrier for next year. Don't even think of using these with a Chris King hub  ......jdcamb

I noticed they dug in pretty badly on a Hugi 240 hub.

Call SRAM and let them know about that. They are willing to warranty mine because of the combination of creeking and ruining the alloy freehub on my CK hub. But... But I have to wait until they make more new ones to get one. That won't be until Febuary though  Oh yeah I am on my own as far as the alloy freehub   I think in the future I will stay with ****mano for cassettes. They shift better anyways.....jdcamb

Yeah - I think Shimano has the shifting market covered in my book. I don't like sram chains or cassettes much. XTR rings shift best and I really don't care much for the X9-X0 set up on the dean. I don't like big companies either. Go figure why I like Shimano.

The Hugi hub is gone so no worries. Suxors thought that those things can be trashed like that. Never had the issue with XTs.
