who is one, he sounds like quite the interesting fellow ;)
Ya know what? I'm gonna give some bonus points for proper grammar. Nice work (even though it still sounds funny). :thumb:

I think he's talking about Juan, his south of the border friend.
I have a Kiwi friend named Juan. (6'9" white dude, btw, who speaks no Spanish.) When he says his name, it sounds just like "One."

Hi,

Can one use a Shimano "rapid fire" type gear shifter with a SRAM XO der. ?
yes. sort of. SRAM makes "rapid-fire" TYPE shifters, you activate both up/down levers with your thumb so they're triggers. High-end is X.9, lower end is X.7, both work SUPERBLY well, and IMO feel better than Shimano.

I'm going to take your bonus points away, one used as a proper name should be capitalized, therefore it was incorrect even though it sounds funny.

No, one is not used as a proper name, one is used as 3rd person singular indefinite pronoun. I think. Think of it as if he'd said "can someone use a Shimano..."

here's your points back. personally I'd give them to you regardless, mainly because you didn't write: "can u tll me i can rune shimano trigger w/ x,o r der.?"
