Whats everyone's take on this SRAM XX1 stuff for aggressive XC/AM riding. I know its fairly new but was curious if anyone has any experience with it. Its defenitley not cheap but I have always been a 1 by 9 rider and was considering going to 1 by 10. I love the simplicity of it but do you think the price is worth it?

i think unless you have money to burn or have alot of climbs where you ride, there is sufficient gearing in a 1x10.

i run a 32t front chainring...paired with a 36t cassette, i can climb most stuff that i care to climb. any steeper, i'd probably just rather walk up.

price withstanding, its solid. i hope for an aluminum armed version. 1x10 with the ring and a type 2 and 11-36 = my jam.
