yeah the sc cham is a great ride but it has this funky way of holding onto your rear wheel if u run a rear disc , i like the more specific ss frames that use an eccentric bb , they also make for hassle free chain tension adj.

If you're looking for a frame with an eccentric bottom bracket, the On-One Inbred looks like a good choice. I think it runs about $500us, but I'm not sure. I don't know too much about this frame except that it exists. Good luck with your search.

EDIT: It's designed for 100mm forks, so that might rule it out. If you like your head angles slack, it might be ok.

One thing to remember is that a frame is designed for a certain fork build height. Forks from different manufacturers are going to have different build heights.

I replaced a rock shox w/80mm with a Marzocchi w/80. The Marzocchi was a half inch taller.

Just curious, but why do need so much travel on a HT SS? Part of riding a SS is having to get out of the saddle to torque up climbs. You are going to be wasting a lot of energy as the fork compresses with every pedal stroke.

yeah man wumpus is right about the torque , but if you need lotsa travel i would definitely go w/ a custom - mainly for the correction geometry , vulture cycles rock!!!!
