Its been an interesting day, I wonder if David De La Fuente will be able to hold? One thing different about the Tour is the lack of control by a major team. In Armstrong's day it was Postal/Discovery and T-Mobile, now the attacks come constantly because of the lack of organization.

Just looking at the profiles of upcoming stages. Weird tour, there seem to be no real flat stages. Although there are only a handful of climbing finishes most have hills big enough to spit the real sprinters off the back well before the finish.

At least he is optimistic, but I would be concerned if I was dropped by the big contenders
