Getting a new SB66 in the mail sometime in the next week or so. I live in Phoenix, so I do need the tubeless tire set up.
Bike comes with DT Swiss 350/E530 wheels on it, so not tubeless. I don't mind the idea of replacing the rims with a set of 819's when the rims that are on it come to a bad end, which seems to be inevitable.
But in the interim, how well does the Stans strip conversion kit work? Tires would range between 2.35 and 2.4. Also, can I use non-ust tires as tubeless with this set up? Is it a pretty durable set up? Nothing I hate more than burping a tire.
