I think it depends. Clone Wars Ahsoka, or Rebels Ahsoka? I think Rebels Ahsoka would be fair game, and understandable.that's............ creepy.
Hey, in rebels she’s like 30 or 40...or maybe not because alien.
when you get to season 4...... buckle up.I am near the end of season 3 of Rebels and I am really liking it. I think I have a man crush on Admiral Thrawn.
Thrawn is like James Bond, Steve Mcqueen and Gary Kasparov all rolled into one.I am near the end of season 3 of Rebels and I am really liking it. I think I have a man crush on Admiral Thrawn.
You do have to get pretty deep. It picks up. The first time Anakin gets....out of hand, there are just like 4 or 5 notes of the Imperial March. Totally gave me chills, subtle, but it's there. It's really well done IMO.starting season 1 of clone wars...
Plow thru the first 1-2 seasons... gets way better after thatstarting season 1 of clone wars...
i worked through seasons 3-6 on the trainer in prep for the final season.I’ve been watching some episodes while mindlessly spinning on ye olde Peloton. E.
but the real question is, where did you put it?I sometimes do them. But my main goal is just zone 2 hours. Went Peloton instead of cheaper bike because the wife likes the classes/instructors.
I think it took at least the first season for it to get in it's groove, the first episodes were kind of bland and shallow if I remember correctly.I'm now near the end of season 1 of Clone Wars. Still seems formulaic at this point, but then again it is the Star Wars universe...
second season is notably better than the first, and 3rd is when it really hits its stride. by the time they hit the 4th season there were very few "standalone" episodes. most were 2-3 episode story arcs, and a few were 4 i think.I'm now near the end of season 1 of Clone Wars. Is there much to be gained by watching the first two seasons? Is it feasible to just skip to the 3rd? would much detail get lost?second season is notably better than the first, and 3rd is when it really hits its stride. by the time they hit the 4th season there were very few "standalone" episodes. most were 2-3 episode story arcs, and a few were 4 i think.
nothing really of significance. mostly character introduction and such. helps to build out what's going on in the galaxy as the war gets underwayIs there much to be gained by watching the first two seasons? Is it feasible to just skip to the 3rd? would much detail get lost?
Interesting... while I agree the Mandalorian was entertaining, and the writing is definitely better than most of the movies, the writing is still a bit "meh" IMO. My wife is a Star Wars fan, generally, and she bailed out after the 2nd episode - just didn't interest her. I stuck it out and enjoyed the series...<snip>I'm watching the Mandelorian. It's absolutely mind-blowing how this can be written well and the movies suck so bad. It shouldn't even be possible.
Compared to the movies was my criteria. Rather than trying to tie together endless plot holes and introducing exponentially more in the process, the Mandelorian doesn't try to reinvent anything and moves in a good direction (there's no giant death-star/planet killer thing again that I'm aware of). I think this too had to get going, the first episode was pretty bland, but it got better. Especially liked the episode with Bill Burr.Interesting... while I agree the Mandalorian was entertaining, and the writing is definitely better than most of the movies, the writing is still a bit "meh" IMO. you want bad accuracy.....watch extraction on netflix....Ok, mostly the Mandelorian is pretty good, but this bugs me, like 20 feet away. I mean, come-on, I know Storm-trooper accuracy was bad, but I expected better of you guys:

oh....it was slow....and the unmasking of the mandalorian....wife would have been like "why did they pick a ugly fucker!"Interesting... while I agree the Mandalorian was entertaining, and the writing is definitely better than most of the movies, the writing is still a bit "meh" IMO. And this is why you'd make a LOUSY Sith Lord.I've got a problem with Palpatine's lack of concern over his disfigurement at the hands of Mace Windu in this movie. He went from looking like a normal old guy to looking like a rotten plum and he doesn't seem to mind it. I'd be like "WTF did you do my face!!" and would need some time to process that and probably seek some medical treatment.
I first watched star wars at age 25 i think.my son has been asking to watch star wars this week. he's been aware of it for a bit (i have some old star wars legos he plays with). is he old enough? where do i start? i'm think yes and new hope.
i recently rewatch the prequels and they made so much more sense (plots & characters) having recently also rewatched clone wars. i think one of the reasons the prequels were less well received (other reasons notwithstanding) is that they felt all over the place with not enough context. almost as if they were trying to tell too much story in too few moviesI first watched star wars at age 25 i think.
I made the mistake of watching episode 1, 2, 3 and so on, ending with return of the jedi.
Now am a big star wars fan. What would I do?
Start with a new hope. Darth Vader comes across as a whiny bitch you feel sorry for in my prequel-first perspective instead of the menacing villain everybody else sees.
Now, Darth Maul... that comes across as a villain (he is my favorite SW villain btw), but you are left wondering.. wtf happened here? (until you watch clone wars and rebels).
I'd say. Episode 4, 5, 6... then 1, 2, then clone wars (the filoni version), and finally ep3, revenge of the sith, and then rebels.
Dont bother with ep 7,8 or 9.
The prequels make a whole lot from sense with clone wars (which I think is the best star wars material).
Although they went off the deep end in some respects with things like the Jar Jar, the prequels did try to keep some kind of continuity between them AND the 3 original movies. So everything was connected.i recently rewatch the prequels and they made so much more sense (plots & characters) having recently also rewatched clone wars. i think one of the reasons the prequels were less well received (other reasons notwithstanding) is that they felt all over the place with not enough context. almost as if they were trying to tell too much story in too few movies
